Placing cloth poker table?

What is the best way to unite poker velvet cloth to a base of MDF??? Im not sure what the best way as I am doing a custom poker table, of course, this is an issue fried, not mine, but the answer anyway!

I think the best thing is to use carpet glue t can be, but that in the carpet shops, spray a very thin film in surf and fabric, the license for 30 seconds then place the cloth to the wood. Oh, I forgot, use a little roller to smooth the material .. You may want to try first with a piece cloth and a piece of scrap wood.
